Recycle for the future
Mr Kushal Harjani delivered talk on “Recycle for the future” on 22nd July 2022 where he covered from daily solid waste generation of Kathmandu valley, challenges, different types of waste like e-waste, non-recyclables waste, etc to his company Doko Recyclers.
Kushal is the Co-Founder and CEO of Doko Recyclers-a social enterprise that manages and recycles dry waste. The Doko believes in Smart Sustainability.
Kushal is passionate about the evidence-based practical solutions for the green economy. Earlier, he was engaged with private sectors and civil societies that work for environment and development such as Seven Summits Women Team, ABARI Bamboo, Earth Initiative and Rebuild Nepal. He earned a Master’s degree in Development Economics from the University of Goettingen, Germany and Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Economics from Washington and Lee University, US.
