Native Nepal Bhasha Language- Before and Now

On 18th July 2025, Rotary Club of Yala conducted its Regular Weekly Meeting No.1470 with talk program by Honorary Member of the Club Prof. Dr. David N. Gellner on “Native Nepal Bhasha Language- Before and Now”.

Mr. Gellner being fluent in Nepal Bhasha, delivered his lecture in Nepal Bhasha. He shared interesting facts he experienced during his stay in Nepal while learning Nepal Bhasha and doing his doctoral work on Newar Buddhism. He expressed his concern about the lack of understanding of the language of new generation.
