The 1478th Regular Meeting of the Rotary Club of Yala was held online via Google Meet on 12th September 2025. The meeting focused on the ongoing Global Grant Project – Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) Phase 2.

This project is centered on an practical based teaching methodology aimed at improving the quality of fundamental education.

Rtn. Pramod Sagar Singh Pradhan gave a detailed presentation on the GG project phase 2. Under Phase 2, 59 teachers from 17 public schools in Lalitpur and Kavre districts were trained in TaRL methodology for Math, English, and Nepali targeting Grades 3, 4, and 5.

Teachers are now implementing the methodology in their respective schools. The first (Baseline) Evaluation has been completed, while the second (Midline) Evaluation) is currently ongoing. Results from the baseline evaluation have shown a positive trend in students’ learning levels.
