Graphic Design Workshop & Contest
Rotary Club of Yala in Collaboration with Women In Information Technology (WIIT) and Shree Harisiddhi School has successfully conducted 2 days Graphic Design Workshop and Contest on 13-14 Dec 2025 as a part of Celebration on International Girls in ICT day. The workshop was attended by 30 girl students (class 9) of Shree Harisiddhi School.
Girls in groups presented their posters to a panel of judges. The judges evaluated the posters based on creativity, clarity of message, design principles, and presentation. The best three design were selected and recognized with some prizes sponsored by WIIT and RC Yala.
The program concluded with certificate distribution, closing remarks from Mrs. Asha Devi Maharjan, Principal of Shree Harisiddhi Secondary School, Mr. Om Shankar Shrestha, President of Rotary Club of Yala and Mrs. Gunakeshari Pradhan, President of WIIT.
The Graphic Design Workshop & Contest was successfully conducted and achieved its intended objectives. The enthusiastic participation of students and the quality of posters produced demonstrated the effectiveness of combining orientation, practical training, and competition. Such initiatives play a vital role in encouraging girls to pursue ICT and creative fields and should be continued and expanded in the future.
Program was observed by 11 members of RC Yala and 6 participants from WIIT including Instructors.
