Birthday Celebrations
The Regular Club Meeting No. 1490 was held today, 19 December 2025 at Hotel Goodwill, Lalitpur. The meeting also commemorated the auspicious occasion of celebrating the birthdays of Rotarians and Anns whose birthdays fall from September to December. The club conveyed its sincere birthday greetings and best wishes for good health, happiness, and continued success.
President Rtn. Om Shanker Shrestha presented each birthday celebrant with a plant as a thoughtful birthday gift, symbolizing love, growth, and care along with a Yomari (a traditional Newari sweet).
In the meeting following information was shared.
1) Recommendation of individual or an organization working in the field of WASH for Gopal Kamala Rajbhandari Rotary Award of Rs 20 Lakhs by 20 Jan 2025
2) Participation from the club in the 18th District Conference, scheduled to be held from 19th – 21st February 2026 in Pokhara, Nepal.
3) Regional round of Rota Quiz (Region 3) will be held on 26th December 2025 Friday at Saba Cliff Restro Langankhel at 5.30 PM with team from RC Yala, RC Durbar Square, RC Patan East
4) Organized Learing Expo-2082 in association with Kitini School and Durshiksha Network today featuring Robotics, Coding Programing, science etc.
4) 1500 excerse copies were distributed to Sinchahiti Mahila Vidyalaya, Lalitpur costing Rs 39,100.
