Classification Talk By Rtn Rina Shrestha
The Regular Club Meeting No. 1498 (31st of RY 2025/26) of Rotary Club of Yala was convened on 13th February 2026 at Hotel Goodwill, Lalitpur, with the main agenda being a classification talk by Rtn. Rina Shrestha.
Rtn. Rina Shrestha, born in Kilagal, Kathmandu, currently a resident of Bhainsepati, Lalitpur, lives in a joint family. She is married to Mr. Rajman Shrestha, an IT expert by profession, and is blessed with two lovely children.
She completed her Master’s degree in Business Administration from Public Youth Campus in B.S.2064.
She began her professional career as an accountant at D & D International and later worked as a Senior Accountant at Bajrayogini Saving and Credit Co. In 2009, she joined the former Sunrise Bank Ltd., entering the banking sector, her dream profession. With around 15 years of banking experience and exposure to various departments, she is currently serving as a Branch Manager at Laxmi Sunrise Bank Ltd., Sanepa Branch. She has attended more than 30 training programs related with banking and financial courses.
She has been actively involved in social and community development initiatives and has also actively engaged in banking and financial literacy campaigns. Her keen interest in social work and commitment to uplifting communities motivated her to join Rotary. She joined RC Yala in October 2024 to further expand her service and contribute meaningfully to society.
The meeting appointed President Rtn. Om Shanker Shrestha as an Elector (Voting Delegate) to the 18th District Conference of RI District 3292 to be held on 17-19 April 2026 at Pokhara.
Information was shared that The distribution of stationery, school bags, sports materials, and clothes to the students of Shree Janata Adharbhut School, Siraha, will be carried out on 16th February.
