Board Meetings 2025-26
Board Meeting #6: Hosted by Shobha Devi Shrestha
On February 14, 2026, Club President Rtn. Om Shanker Shrestha convened the club’s sixth Board Meeting of Rotary Year 2025–26 at Classic Tandoori Restaurant, Hattiban, with the participation of 11 Board Members and 7 invited Rotarians.
The Board reviewed and discussed key matters, including the closure of the District Grant for Coding & Robotics classes in schools; the reconstruction of a building at Clark Himalaya Memorial School with funding support from RC Fukuoka; the endorsement of the new Board for RY 2026/27 under the presidency of Rtn. Deepak Das Tamrakar; and the financial status of the club up to January 2026.
The Board emphasized the need to develop a Global Grant project for the reconstruction of the Clark Himalaya School building.
During the meeting, the President briefed members on ongoing and upcoming club activities and service projects, including the Global Grant projects which is set to complete soon, and those the club plans to carry out, totaling four in all.

Board Meeting #5: Hosted by Jeetendra Nakarmi
The Fifth Board Meeting of the Rotary Club of Yala for RY 2025/26 was convened on 25 December 2025 to discuss various agendas. The Board reviewed and discussed key matters including the constitution of nominating committee for the Board for RY 2026–27, recommendation of an individual/entity for the Gopal Kamala Rajbhandari Rotary Award, the Guita Hiti Preservation Project, the bid proposal for toilet construction at Saraswoti School, the election of the Rotary International Director for 2027–2029 etc. A heartfelt thank you to Secretary Rtn. Jeetendra Nakarmi for graciously hosting today’s board meeting at his residence in Dhapakhel with wonderful fellowship.



Board Meeting #4: Hosted by Lucky Nyanchhyon Pradhan
The 4th Board Meeting of the Rotary Club of Yala for the Rotary Year 2025/26 was held on 8th November 2025 at Mount View Residence, Harisiddhi. Discussions were held on key topics including the new Global Grant project (No. 2573784) – “Daughters for Mothers: Improving Cervical Cancer Screening & HPV Awareness Campaign in Nepal”, the MOU with Dursikshya Education Network and Kitini Secondary School for training on coding and robotics, and planning for the Hetauda health camp, among other agendas. Special thanks to Treasurer Rtn. Lucky Nyachhyon Pradhan for hosting the meeting with warm hospitality and wonderful fellowship.

Board Meeting #3: Hosted by Twinkle Nyanchhyon
On 28th September 2025, the 3rd Board Meeting of the Rotary Club of Yala for the Rota Year 2025/26 was held.
Key topics of discussion included the financial report for the past three months, preparations for the District Governor’s official club visit scheduled for 17th October 2025, and planning for the Vocational Award program to be held on 21st October 2025.
The Board also discussed applying for a Global Grant for the construction of a toilet facility at a local school, aimed at improving sanitation and hygiene for students.
A Vocational Award Committee was formed under the coordinator ship of Club Administration Chair Rtn. Manjari Tamrakar, along with four other members.

Board Meeting #2: Hosted by Club Trainer Pramod Sagar Singh Pradhan
The second Board Meeting of the Rotary Club of Yala for RY 2025/26 was held on 7th September 2025.
Discussions were held on key topics including the ongoing District Grant 2024/25, initiation of establishment of coding & robotics lab, the upcoming District Governor’s official club visit, a planned health camp, and the Vocational Award. It was resolved that two separate committees will be formed, one for coordinating the DG visit and another for managing the Vocational Award.

Board Meeting #1 : Hosted by President Om Shanker Shrestha (Classic Tandoori, Hatiban)
On 28th July 2025, the 1st Board Meeting of the Rotary Club of Yala for the Rotary Year 2025/26 was held. Board members actively participated in discussions based on the pre-circulated agenda. The meeting approved the estimated budget for RY 2025/26 and resolved to initiate various service projects during the year as well.
