Amplify the Echo: Children’s Artivism for Good Governance
On 20 January 2024 Saturday, the Lalitpur Metropolitan City (LMC) Ward No. 6 Office, in collaboration with Accountability Lab Nepal and Rotary Club of Yala, hosted the closing ceremony of the CHILDREN WINTER CAMP-2024 at Yashodhara Boudha Secondary School, Thaina, Lalitpur.
Twenty-three students from 15 different schools, aged 11-14, participated in the week-long camp, which explored the theme “Amplify the Echo: Children’s Artivism for Good Governance.” Nhooja Roy, an Art Mentor representing Rotary Club of Yala, guided the young artists throughout their creative journey.
Rtn. Dharmendra Shakya and Rtn. Rabindra Roy represented RC Yala at the closing ceremony, where the children proudly showcased their artworks inspired by the theme of good governance.
