Scholarships Worth Rs 315,000 to 30 Brilliant Students
On July 24, 2025, the Rotary Club of Yala in collaboration with the Anns Group, organized a meaningful and heartwarming initiative at Clark Himalayan Memorial School in Bungamati, Lalitpur. A total of 30 brilliant students of the school having poor financial states received scholarships of NPR 10,500 each, totaling NPR 315,000 to support their education and ease the financial burden on their families.
In addition to scholarships, the Club also provided NPR 104,000 to fund daily tiffin for children in Nursery and KG for the year. The tiffin support is a small gesture with a big impact making sure these little ones are not studying on an empty stomach and their attendance remains constant.
This initiative was made possible by the generous support of Rotary members and well-wishers under the leadership of President Rtn Om Shanker Shrestha, President of Anns Group Radha Shrestha, Chairperson of the school Rtn Surendra Gopal Shrestha, Principal Yagya Shakya. The Rotary Club of Yala remains deeply committed to nurturing young minds not just through books and classrooms, but with care, compassion, and community support.
