Rs. 100,000 support to Kirtipur Burn Hospital

On 15th October 2025, the Rotary Club of Yala handed over a cheque of Rs. 100,000 to District Governor Rtn. Binod Koirala at the Rotary District Office, Thapathali for the support for treatment of burn patients.

The District Governor subsequently handed over the amount to Dr. Kiran Kishor Nakarmi, Director of Kirtipur Burn Hospital. Rtn. Surendra Govind Joshi, a member of the Rotary Club of Yala, generously contributed the donation amount.

District Governor Rtn. Koirala thanked the Rotary Club of Yala for taking this meaningful step to help those affected by burns. President Om Shanker Shrestha expressed his pleasure in being able to provide financial support to the Nepal Burn Foundation, an organization dedicated to raising awareness about burn and fire safety, and assisting financially weak burn victims.

Dr. Kiran Nakarmi said that burn injuries are among the most serious and painful types of injuries, often requiring long-term medical care, costly treatment and emotional support. He expressed hope that they will continue to receive support from Rotary in the future.
