School Improvement Plan Workshops Strengthen TaRL Schools

Lalitpur, 24 August 2026: Under the extended activities of the TaRL Global Grant Project implemented by Rotary Club of Yala, four one-day School Improvement Plan (SIP) workshops were successfully conducted for TaRL-implementing schools.
A total of **50 school representatives—24 principals and 26 SIP focal teachers—**participated, along with 19 Rotarians and Anns. The workshops focused on strengthening practical skills in reviewing and preparing inclusive, evidence-based and school-specific SIPs.
Sessions covered SIP guidelines, gender and social inclusion, AI, school data analysis, problem identification and practical fishbone analysis. The workshops were facilitated by education and development experts from the Government of Nepal and SORD.
Participants committed to updating and finalizing their SIPs through consultation with School Management Committees and other stakeholders.
The workshops are expected to strengthen school-level planning, accountability and responsive improvement across TaRL-implemented schools.
The program concluded with remarks from PP Rtn. Pramod Sagar Singh Pradhan, TaRL Global Grant Project Coordinator, and a vote of thanks from President Rtn. Deepak Das Tamrakar, Rotary Club of Yala.
