Supporting Families in Need
Rotary Club of Yala Team visited the Sahari Bikas Tatha Bhawan Nirman Bibhag, where the CDO, Kathmandu is coordinating the collection and distribution of kind donations for families affected by the recent disaster on 30thAug2026.
After speaking with the dedicated volunteers and understanding the immediate needs, we contributed essential food and hygiene supplies sufficient for 10 households for approximately 10 days, with a total value of around NPR 40,000.
Our contribution included:
Rice
Dal
Cooking oil
Salt
Dalmoth
Bathing & washing soap
Toothpaste & toothbrushes
Sanitary pads Sattu1,000 pieces of Piyush
It was heartwarming to see the volunteers working tirelessly to pack these essential items into individual family bags, ensuring that each household receives a balanced and useful set of supplies.
