30th Installation Ceremony

On 4th of July, Rotary Club of Yala proudly celebrated its 30th Installation Ceremony, marking three decades of unwavering commitment to service and fellowship. The event was graced by the presence of District Governor Rtn. Binod Koirala, who put the pin and presented Charter Certificate of the club, Gravel and Gong to new president Rtn Om Shanker Shrestha. Past District Governor Dilendra Raj Shrestha administered the oath of office to our new President. It was a moment of pride and purpose as the torch of leadership was officially passed.

The club’s 1468th regular meeting (first regular meeting of this tenure 2025-26) was also held.

In his inspiring address in the meeting, DG Koirala highlighted the key priorities for the Rotary District in Rotary Year 2025-26 including setting up a computer lab to promote digital literacy, constructing toilets to support health and hygiene, conducting free cataract surgeries to restore sight, distributing induction heaters to support safe and eco-friendly cooking in rural communities, tree plantation etc. Alignment with the district’s mission, our club has committed to key initiatives for the 2025–26 Rotary year as well.

2025–26 leadership team is now ready to embrace the Rotary spirit with renewed energy. As we move into this new chapter, we look forward to impactful service projects, deeper community engagement, and stronger fellowship among members.
