Presentation on “Some essentials of Service Projects”
The 1479th Regular Meeting (12th of RY 2025/26) of the Rotary Club of Yala was convened on 19th September 2025 at Hotel Goodwill, Lalitpur.
The meeting focused on various aspects to be considered while conducting any service projects.
Rtn. Subhakar Baidya gave a presentation on “Some essentials of Service Projects” where he explained the Rotary value “Service above Self”, Rotary/Rotarians as the change makers, project planning, need assessment, service project’s goals, progression towards impact, securing funds, working with partners, beneficiaries’ participation, stakeholders’ ownership for the sustainability of projects, club members’ engagement, monitoring, evaluation and reporting, and public image enhancement through services.
Members appreciated his presentation about the essentials of service projects as very important for every Rotarian to know.
We were honored to have Er. Kamalayan Shrestha and Mrs. Ravi Netri Shrestha from Brisbane, Australia, join the meeting and generously support Rs. 21,000 for scholarships to girl children.
