Distribution of Track Suits & Cheque for Tiffin Hand Over

On 5th February 2026, as a part of supporting education & schools, Rotary Club of Yala, in coordination with the Anns Group, distributed track suits to 60 students of Clark Memorial Himalaya School, Bungamati, along with food items. The total cost of the track suits amounting to Rs. 45,000 was generously sponsored by Rtn. Sworupa Shrestha, while food items worth Rs. 5,000 were also provided.

In the program, Ann President Radha Shrestha, on behalf of the Club, handed over a cheque of Rs. 57,000 for tiffin support to the students.

RC Yala is always committed to supporting child welfare, and community development by ensuring that students from local schools receive care, encouragement, and equal opportunities for learning.

The Regular Club Meeting No. 1497 (30th of RY 2025/26) was also convened at the school. During the meeting, President Rtn. Om Shanker Shrestha shared information regarding the 18th District Conference, which has been rescheduled to be held from 17–19 April 2026 (4–6 Baishakh, 2083).

Information regarding the Diktel WASH Project (installation of Bio-sand water filtration systems in 30 schools) was briefed during the meeting.

• A$ 5,000 received from RC Jidalee, Australia,

• Work order placed with the contractor

• District 3292 is expected to release Rs. 1 lakh.
