PAP smear tests and breast checkups
RC Yala Anns Group in association with Lalitpur Municipality Ward No 2 Health Committtee volunteers, Sahasi Mahila Smuha and Himalayan General Insurance Co. Ltd had held a cancer awareness program on ovary and breasts, and provided cancer related health tests for the women of the community Tika Vidyashram Sanepa premises of the ward. National Cancer Hospital Jawalakhel Lalitpur had provided necessary technical support for the health camp.
A total of 75 women registered had the PAP smear tests and breast checkups.
The total costs of the program including test fee was Rs. 7,500.00 and was sponsored by the Himalayan General Insurance Co. Ltd.
