Smart Living: Making Daily Tasks Easier with Your Phone & PC
The Regular Club Meeting No. 1508 (41st of RY 2025/26) of the Rotary Club of Yala was held on 24th April 2026 at Hotel Goodwill. The meeting featured a talk program on the topic “Smart Living: Making Daily Tasks Easier with Your Phone & PC” by Rtr. Subin Shrestha, an Electronics Engineer specializing in network and system security.
During the session, a practical demonstration was conducted on the use of digital wallets such as eSewa, Khalti, and Connect IPS, including app downloads, online ordering, payment systems, fund transfers, ride booking, and poster designing using tools like Canva. He also highlighted precautionary measures for digital safety and cybersecurity.
Participants noted that staying connected to digital world and effective utilization of digital tools contributes to greater ease and efficiency in daily life.
The session was highly informative and well received by 23 participants, including members, Anns, Rotaractors and guests.
