A Morning of Service, Faith & Cleanliness

What a meaningful morning of service at Banglamukhi Temple, Patan on 16Aug2026, Sunday!
From 8:00AM to 11:30 AM, Rotarians, members and volunteers came together and worked continuously to clean the temple premises. We cleaned and polished the surroundings of Lord Kumbheswor Mahadev , removed accumulated dust, dirt and incense residues, and carefully cleaned the areas around Banglamukhi Mata’s Aarti space and the tin-covered sections.
It was truly heartwarming to see so many people working together with dedication, faith and a strong spirit of service.
At the same time, we would like to share one small, constructive suggestion. We completely understand that feeding pigeons and other birds is considered an act of kindness and religious devotion. However, if a separate designated area for feeding birds could be created, it would make it easier to maintain the cleanliness of the temple while allowing devotees to continue this beautiful tradition.
Faith and cleanliness can go hand in hand.
