MOU between Guita Tole Sudhar Samiti, Chiva Chaitya Organization (CCO) and Yala
A MOU has been signed among Guita Tole Sudhar Samiti, Chiva Chaitya Organization (CCO) and Rotary Club of Yala in the presence and witness of Ward Chairperson Mr. Babu Ratna Maharjan of Ward Office No.8 of Lalitpur Metropolitan City.
The purpose of the MoU is for restoration and preservation of Guita Hiti (Stone Spout) in Lalitpur. Representative of all three parties of the MoU are excited about the project which will complement the current efforts of Guita heritage. The project is supported by World Monument Fund (WMF) based in New York and will be implemented by CCO in close coordination with local authorities and RC Yala.
President Rtn Om Shanker Shrestha and Rtn Basant Raj Shrestha represented the RC Yala.CCO has recently completed a similar project in Yenga Hiti. RC Yala coordinated a special painting exhibition on the theme of HITI with E-Arts Nepal with 20 aspiring artists during the inauguration of Yenga Hiti restoration on 6th December.
An elaborated painting exhibition will be held in Patan Museum from 9-11 January 2026.
