Sharing Success Stories During 1417th RWM
On 31st May 2024, Rotary Club of Yala (RC Yala) conducted its 1417th Regular Weekly Meeting (RWM 1417) at Le Bagaicha Restaurant. The meeting featured the following main agenda:
– Sharing of success stories by Ms. Laxmi Maharjan and Ms. Laxmi Shrestha, recipients of the RC Yala Girls’ Child Scholarship.
– Acknowledgments from 17 former scholarship recipients who received their scholarships from RC Yala 26 years ago. They shared their positive journeys and expressed special thanks to Past President (PP) Rotarian (Rtn) Dilendra Raj Shrestha, Rtn Urmila Shrestha, and Rtn Surendra Govinda Joshi, Rtn Dhruba Man Pradhan etc for their support.
During the meeting, PP Rtn Surendra Govinda Joshi was pinned as a Major Donor by Past District Governor (PDG) Rtn Dilendra Raj Shrestha. Additionally, Rtn Urmila Shrestha presented a cheque of ten thousand rupees to the President for the President’s Fund.
