Joint Meeting with Anns Group, Rotaract, and Interact Club of Yala
The 1506th Regular Meeting of the Rotary Club of Yala was successfully held on 10 April 2026 as a joint meeting with the RC Yala Anns Group, Rotaract Club of Yala, and Interact Club of Yala at Goodwill Hotel, Lalitpur. The meeting was graciously led by RC Yala President Rtn. Om Shanker Shrestha, Anns President Radha Shrestha, Rotaract President Rtr. Ishani Shrestha, and Interact President Itr. Sakina Maharjan.
During the meeting, the respective Presidents presented a detailed reports on the service activities carried out by their clubs up to March, along with the upcoming service projects planned for the coming months. Anns Group has successfully carried out 47 activities so far. Similarly, the Rotaract Club of Yala has implemented 20 service projects, while the Interact Club of Yala has performed 14 social initiatives. In the same spirit of service, the Rotary Club of Yala has successfully accomplished 46 service programs to date.
During the meeting, Rtn. Surendra Govinda Joshi graciously contributed Rs. 4 lakhs for the Bio-sand Water Project at Siraha Jail and for the establishment of a computer lab at Saraswoti School. The Club expressed its heartfelt appreciation and sincere gratitude for his generous contribution and continued support toward meaningful service initiatives.
As a continued tradition, RC Yala provided its annual financial support to its partner clubs, contributing Rs. 50,000 to the Anns Group and Rs. 25,000 each to the Rotaract Club of Yala and the Interact Club of Yala in support of their ongoing service activities.
The joint meeting provided an opportunity to learn about the various service activities carried out by the clubs, while also strengthening fellowship and collaboration among members of the Rotary family. It was well received by 40 participants, including members, Anns, Rotaractors, and Interactors
